Subtitle Split Tool
Split a long SRT/VTT subtitle file into exact short-video segments. Every exported part resets timestamps to 00:00 so it lines up when imported into an editor.

Why must sliced subtitles reset timestamps?
A long subtitle file may start a highlight at 00:10:05 or 01:20:30, but the sliced video starts at 0 seconds. This tool subtracts the segment start from every cue so each exported subtitle begins at 00:00.
Which short-video workflows is this for?
Use it when turning movies, podcasts, interviews, courses, or livestreams into TikTok Shorts, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts. Generate fixed 60-second parts or enter custom highlight ranges.
Subtitle split FAQ
Will subtitles that cross a cut point be lost?
No. Any cue that overlaps a segment is kept. Its start or end time is clipped to the segment boundary, then reset relative to the segment start.
Can I generate 10 short-video subtitle files at once?
Yes. Fixed-length mode defaults to ten 60-second parts, and you can change the start second, duration, and part count.
